The DGB Excellence Center is a strategic training and capacity development platform under the Direction Générale du Budget (DGB) of Cameroon. It supports staff in mastering budget professions and strengthens state budget management, in line with Program 034.

The Center of Excellence was created under Program 034, "State Budget Management," to accelerate capacity building and professional development for DGB staff. Training is intensive and competency-based—no university degrees are awarded.
What does the Excellence Center do?
The Center delivers intensive, immersive training so staff can build a solid foundation in budgeting in a short time. It focuses on capacity building and professional development—not degrees. Topics include public finance, budget execution, expenditure management, performance budgeting, and related skills. Participants are evaluated to ensure required competencies are met.
